Android Gets Layar 3.5 Update First
June 4, 2010 by Mike
In your FACE, iPhone users! Layar’s latest update, 3.5, has been released first for Android phones. It includes the new ‘stream’ feature, which offers up augmented reality information based on your location, without a search entry needed.
It’ll help shave time off your localized queries, with the Stream setting coming up first, when the reality browser is opened. If you weren’t after any of the details it’s showing you, you can then make a search entry for the specific query—Italian food, for example.
Available now for Android, the iPhone version will drop soon according to Layar. [Layar via Mobile-Ent]
